Edinburgh People
Graham Langley, the founder of Tiger Advisers, is a vastly experienced, award-winning former banker. He has worked closely with owner-managers of mid-market businesses in a diverse range of sectors on strategic and funding issues for many years. Graham is renowned for being innovative and possesses extensive risk assessment and deal-structuring skills. He has established a reputation as an outstanding business developer with a vast network of business contacts throughout the central belt of Scotland. Graham is authorised by the Financial Services Authority to undertake Corporate Finance work.
Neil McGill joined Tiger Advisers in February 2007 to work closely with SME clients on strategic advisory and fundraising assignments. Neil has a strong network of contacts with providers of both debt and equity capital across the UK. Prior to joining Tiger Advisers, Neil worked with Ernst & Young and subsequently ABN AMRO where he enjoyed six years in investment banking, based in London. A specialist in M&A Advisory, Neil has worked on a significant number of transactions across sectors on both the buy-side and the sell-side. Notable deals include the MBO of Conran Restaurants, the sale of Easynet to BSkyB, the sale of Mersey Docks to Peel Ports and the public offer by Wm Morrison Supermarkets for Safeway. Neil is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and is a FSA approved person.
Jonathan Nicoll joined Tiger Advisers in April 2007 and works with a range of SMEs providing a range of advisory services including the preparation of business plans and performing related research and financial analysis. Jonathan has been involved in a number of equity-raising exercises and also uses his network of contacts throughout the UK to work with property developers, helping to structure deals with a mixture of senior debt, mezzanine and equity finance. Before joining Tiger Advisers, Jonathan qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, working predominantly with a number of financial sector clients including banks, private equity firms and asset managers
London People
Amanda de Courcy has extensive knowledge in the asset based lending sector having worked in that arena since 1995. Her expertise covers all aspects from factoring and invoice discounting through to asset finance, trade finance and stock finance. More recently Amanda has worked as part of a corporate advisory team in one of the major accountancy firms in the UK sourcing and restructuring finance for a range of businesses in a variety of sectors. Focused primarily on SMEs with turnover of less than £100m, she has a reputation for being tenacious and creative and is always focused upon delivering the right solution for the client. Amanda has a wide reaching database of contacts in London, the South East and the Midlands and is able to provide a multitude of financial products to meet the needs of her clients.
